Change Begins with a Bicycle Newsletter

Dear Friends

With Easter comes hope and a chance for new beginnings. Indeed, new beginnings seem to be all around us in God’s creation. Perhaps, you too have noticed this and felt joyful as we’ve travelled ‘together’, whether walking or cycling, in our efforts to reach Butugaya.

The Change Begins with a Bicycle project brings hope and new beginnings for those people living in some of the poorest communities in rural Uganda. It’s through this valuable work of All We Can, in partnership with FABIO (First African Bicycle Information Organisation), that dreams and hopes can start to become a reality.

Betty and her son Perezi - "I feel with this bike, me and my son will be able to fetch water for people in the community and be able to make a living."

Picture
Beth - "I have so many hopes for my daughter, because if she persists in school, I believe we can change as a family."

Picture
Moses - "I know that with this project, the bicycles in this country have already increased, and with that I will be able to do so many repairs, and increase my daily income. I will be in a position now to buy my children their books and other necessities. Our lives will not remain the same."
