Shelley Methodist Church
An open-minded Church offering a warm welcome and hospitality to all. As well as Sunday worship we hold regular blocks of joint midweek Bible studies with our Anglican friends and share other joint ventures and services together. Our facilities are enjoyed daily by Church and village groups. In a changing world we are committed to caring for people of all faiths or none, aiming to promote community well-being locally and worldwide.
The Shelley Museum has been created as part of the original chapel buildings, the display is changed throughout the year showing the history, in words and pictures, of church life, village life, local farms, industry and population register. Sunday worship: 10.30 am Brownies; Guides; Beavers; Scouts; Toddler group; Outside organisations hire the premises: Many Shelley Over 60’s activities eg carpet bowls; knit and natter; board games; Gardening talks; history talks; The Youth Brass Band and more. Messy Church joint with the Anglican Church each quarter |
