Landscaping Lent

Landscaping Lent is a booklet produced by members Huddersfield Methodist Circuit.

Welcome to Landscaping Lent

We are together taking some time during this lent to stop and ponder the landscape around us. To gaze and wonder on this holy walk through lent, not forgetting to look both in foreground and behind the scenes too, and draw from scripture.

Entering into Lent from Ash Wednesday through to the first Sunday of Lent there is a focus on Landscapes in the Psalms
This is followed by five weeks focusing on different Landscapes
Week 1 - Rivers
Week 2 - Deserts
Week 3 - Oceans
Week 4 - Mountains
Week 5 - Forests
Through Holy Week we look at the 'Stations of the Cross' and the landscape surrounding Jesus in these images.

This online resource is there to give additional resources on our pathway through this time.

Follow the links above to give you additional resources for that week. These include videos, scripture, questions are all to be used alongside and in addition to the booklet.
