Youth Work in the Circuit

There are a number of activities around the circuit that engage with young people. From youth groups, Messy Church, Events, and One to One support. The circuit also links with the Yorkshire West District Youth Work to attend events such as synod, weekends away, the One Programme and other initiatives. 

This year the circuit already has planned a number of one off events which include making Fires, Trampoline Parks, Cooking, Christmas Craft sessions as well as going to Xscape, Bradley Woods and BBQ's. Further to these events the circuit is also working with other churches to give young people the opportunity to take part in Youth Alpha.

Chris has been our Circuit Youth Worker since 2014, he provides a chaplaincy service to Kirklees College and works with schools in the circuit when requested to deliver assemblies, lessons and lunch clubs.
