Peter Catford - Superintendent
Huddersfield is my ninth circuit and have had the privilege of being part of Methodist communities from the deep south of the Isle of Wight to the north-east of England in Stockton-on-Tees and points in between.
As a family, we served in Belize for a short while. Before training for ordained ministry I worked in computing for a small bank and since entering circuit life had had opportunities to be chaplain in a variety of situations
Stories are an important part of my ministry, telling them, listening to them and learning from each other where God is creatively present and inviting us to play a creative part for the good. The work of open and relational theologians has become an interest over the last few years
and has stretched me in many ways
I enjoy gardening and walking our dogs along with the joy of being a husband, dad and grandad
