Chris has been part of the life of the Circuit since 2014, working passionately with young people both within the church and in the wider community. As Circuit Youth Advisor and Digital Enabler, Chris plays a key role in supporting, resourcing, and growing youth ministry across the Circuit.
Chris leads on creating safe, welcoming spaces for young people to explore faith, build friendships, and develop into the best versions of themselves. Whether that's running the Circuit Youth Group, offering mentoring and pastoral support, or working alongside schools, colleges, and the local university — Chris is passionate about seeing young people thrive in every area of life.
A big part of Chris’ role is supporting volunteers and local churches in their youth and student ministry. He works closely with teams across the Circuit, offering guidance, resources, and encouragement to help them engage with young people and students effectively.
As Digital Enabler, Chris also helps the Circuit navigate the online world — offering advice on digital communication, helping to create online content, and finding creative ways to connect with young people through social media and digital platforms.
Outside of his work within the Circuit, Chris also works with CICS (Christians in Calderdale Schools), continuing his passion for schools-based youth work. When he’s not working, you'll probably find him spending time with family (especially his many nieces and nephews!), watching sport (he’s a long-suffering Huddersfield Giants fan), or enjoying life with his wife Lucy and their dog.
Chris loves being part of the Circuit and counts it a privilege to journey alongside young people and students — helping them to discover who they are and who God is calling them to be.
