Chris Mason
That's me next to my beautiful wife. I'm the Circuit Youth Worker and love my job. Since 2014 I've had the pleasure of working with the young people within the Circuit, alongside working with young people in the community.
I love working with young people and during the time I've been with the circuit, I've been fortunate enough to have seen some of them grow up, now I get to call them friends. I get to do that alongside some dedicated volunteers that are incredible and without them, I wouldn't be able to do my job. You will find me running the Circuit Youth Group, at schools, college or at other events. I spend a lot of time doing pastoral work, mentoring young people and creating safe space for young people to grow, develop and become the best versions of themselves they can be, which is what I believe faith to be all about.
Outside of work with the Circuit, I work for CICS (Christians in Calderdale Schools) doing more youth work. I love spending time with my family (we have lots of nieces and nephews!), watching sport (long suffering Huddersfield Giants fan!), and of course spending time with my wife (Lucy) and Dog.
