Trinity formed a Local Ecumenical Partnership in 1969, embracing both Methodist and URC traditions. We are situated in a village community with good relations with the other 2 denominations Church of England and Pentecostal.
Our weekly services are on Sundays at 10.30 a.m. and following the service, we all enjoy teas, coffees and biscuits and a good chat. Our congregation is very caring, always willing to make friends and help those in difficulty.
On the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, we have an SEN Parent Support group from 1.00pm to 3.00pm. It is an opportunity to meet with other parents in a similar situation over coffee and cake. It offers time to chat, gain support, and share information.
On Tuesday mornings during term time, our Toddler Group meets between 9.15 a.m. and 11.30 a.m., with refreshments available for children and adults. No booking is needed, just a very informal drop-in.
On Wednesday afternoons, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., our Friendship Group meets and gets up to anything from painting to games and jigsaws, and enjoy refreshments and a chat. Everyone is welcome.
For over 20 years, we have been a part of the village events at Easter and Christmas. In early December, the church is open for quiet reflection at our Memory Tree. Teas, coffees, and mince pies are served. Many visitors take the opportunity of putting a message on our Memory Tree as they remember friends and family who are no longer with us.
