Brockholes Methodist Church
Ours is a warm, welcoming church extending our love and fellowship to the village and local community. We meet in a beautiful 100 year old traditional style building set in it's own gardens.
We have weekly Bible study, fortnightly soup and roll lunches - which are very popular - and Singing Round the Christmas Tree annually. Occasional joint services are held with the local Anglican Church and regular meetings for Churches Together. In these Covid times we are worshipping through shared written resources and weekly Zoom meetings each Sunday at 6pm – please contact Rev Helen on 01484 305308 or [email protected] to share in either or both of these. We do not have any plans to reopen for regular worship in our building but we are looking to how we can respond to Remembrance Sunday in the village. We miss the regular ‘soup’n’roll’ (actually more than that) gatherings each fortnight. We have good links with the local primary school who have shared community projects with the church and Rev Helen was a regular in assemblies until Covid restrictions. |
