Fundraising

One of the main fundraising events for the Change Begins with a Bicycle project is the Coast to Coast Cycle Ride from Morecambe to Bridlington. Pete Bishop, his brother David and his son Daniel, being dubbed ‘The Three Bishops’, will be taking on this 170-mile challenge in the summer!

The challenge is now set for 7th-9th July, and we need your help to encourage and support them along the way, especially through sponsorship.

Donations can be made through JustGiving, see link below, or alternatively sponsorship forms are available from Liz Bishop.

Start point:
Huddersfield, UK
End point:

Butugaya, Uganda

Approx Total: 6500

Miles cycled so far: 3550

Miles left to go: 2950

As we are Landscaping our way through lent, we are now travelling our way through the desert. Hard miles ahead but over half way!

For the most up to date map click onto Count Your Miles.

Be part of the Circuit cycling challenge and help us to reach Butugaya, Uganda by the end of August – only 6,500miles!
This is the distance that it would take if we was to actually travel by bike! Simply get on your bike and get pedaling! This includes miles completed on an exercise bike or walking if you don’t have access to a bike.

Record your miles here – see how far we can get together - every mile counts!

Around the Circuit

Picture
As the project grows, we’re hoping to feature news from our churches around the Circuit. We’re looking forward to finding out how you’re engaging with the project and discovering what activities and events you’ve been organizing to support Change Begins with a Bicycle.

Meanwhile, please share all the project news and updates with those in your churches, take part in the Circuit Cycling Challenge and send in your Bicycle stories and memories.
